Avista Public Acquisition Corp. II Announces Pricing of $200 Million Initial Public Offering

NEW YORKAug. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Avista Public Acquisition Corp. II (the “Company”), a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of entering into a combination with one or more businesses, announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 20,000,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit.  The units will be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) and will trade under the ticker symbol “AHPAU” beginning on August 10, 2021.  Each unit issued in the offering consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of one redeemable warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one Class A ordinary share at a price of $11.50 per share, subject to adjustment.  After the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “AHPA” and “AHPAW,” respectively.

Avista Public Acquisition Corp. II is incorporated as a Cayman Islands exempted company for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with a target company in the healthcare industry.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the sole book-running manager for the offering.  The Company has granted the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
